Here at S&S, we have been raising cattle in the North Georgia Mountains since 2014. Because of their docile nature and natural beauty, we exclusively raise Longhorns since 2020. As a family owned business, we believe a family that works together and prays together stays together. We founded S&S so our children could inherit a family business while learning responsibility and to care for and respect the lives of animals. We are proud of our longhorns and look forward to many more years of God’s blessings.

Why Longhorns?

The Longhorn’s beauty and docile nature make them the perfect breed for a family farm. Longhorns are known for their wonderful temperament, resistance to disease, fertility, and ability to thrive on small pastures. When used for beef, they are exceptionally lean and healthy. When used for calving, they are known for their propensity to quickly create a thriving population. Since the mid 1900’s, the United States has seen a surge in the population and popularity of longhorns. |
